Throughout our Medical Laboratory Science program, you will perform and evaluate complex laboratory tests to help detect, diagnose, and treat a wide range of diseases. You will learn how to conduct chemical analyses of bodily fluids, such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid to determine the normal or abnormal components of those samples.
You will also learn how to perform and evaluate blood tests and other body fluids to help detect, diagnose, and treat a wide range of diseases. Our Phoenix Medical Lab Science program combines a mix of classroom instruction and clinical training to provide you the most well-rounded educational experience.
Upon earning your bachelor’s degree, you will be eligible to sit for national certification exams administered by the American Society of Clinical Pathology or the American Medical Technologists. With your certification, you will be qualified for employment in various health care and laboratory settings, including hospitals, clinics, research centers, reference laboratories, and blood banks.
