Financial aid programs at Brookline College

Explore the grants, scholarships, loans, and planning tools that may help make your education more affordable. Federal grants are forms of financial assistance that typically do not need to be repaid for those who qualify. These awards are generally based on financial need and are determined through the information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Examples may include the Federal Pell Grant and other need-based federal programs. Eligibility, award amounts, and availability are determined annually and may vary based on your individual financial circumstances.

Scholarships are another form of funding that may help reduce your overall education costs and generally do not require repayment. Brookline College offers institutional scholarship and grant opportunities that align with current college catalog offerings and eligibility criteria. Availability, qualifications, and award amounts may vary by program and campus. In addition to institutional scholarships, students are encouraged to research and apply for external scholarships through community organizations, employers, and national foundations.

PN to BSN Alumni Grant

This grant is available to graduates of Brookline College’s Vocational and Practical Nursing program who enroll in the Brookline College Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Awards are based on financial need and require completion of the FAFSA. The maximum grant amount is $10,000, disbursed proportionately in the student’s final two semesters. There is no cash value for this grant, and students who withdraw prior to completing the program will forfeit unearned amounts.

MA to PN or BSN Alumni Grant

This grant is available to graduates of Brookline College’s Medical Assisting diploma program who enroll in either Brookline College’s pre-licensure Practical Nursing program or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. It is awarded based on financial need and requires completion of the FAFSA. The maximum grant amount is $2,000, awarded proportionately in the final two semesters of the program. This grant may only be used once, either for the PN program or BSN program, but not both.

Brookline Workforce Mobility Scholarship

This merit-based scholarship is available for students enrolled in the BSN program at Brookline College who have resided in a state other than Arizona or New Mexico for the previous twelve months and earned a score of 64 or above on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) entrance test if enrolling in Arizona, or 75 on the HESI A2 if enrolling in New Mexico. The score must be earned within 24 months of the program start date. The scholarship is awarded proportionately each semester for a maximum of $20,025 for the full BSN program or $8,900 for the accelerated BSN program ($2,225 per full-time semester).

Student loans

Student loans are funds borrowed to help cover educational expenses and must be repaid with interest. Federal student loans are available to eligible students who complete the FAFSA form and may offer fixed interest rates and flexible repayment options. Some students may also consider private educational loans through outside lenders if additional funding is needed. Brookline College encourages responsible borrowing and provides guidance to help students understand repayment expectations before accepting any loan funds.

Net price calculator

Brookline College’s Net Price Calculator is an online planning resource designed to help students and families estimate the potential net cost of attendance. The calculator is based on full-time enrollment for a first-time student and reflects current aid year costs and awarding policies. It assumes submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). While the results are only estimates and do not represent a final financial aid award or official net price, the tool provides helpful general cost and eligibility information to support informed financial planning.

Apply for financial aid at Brookline College

Complete these steps and receive personalized support from our Financial Aid team throughout the process.

The financial aid process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is used to determine your eligibility for federal and, in some cases, state financial assistance. Although completing a federal form may feel overwhelming at first, the process is straightforward, and our Financial Aid team is available to guide you step by step. Even if you are unsure whether you qualify, we strongly encourage you to apply. Submitting your FAFSA early may increase your access to available funding options. Submitting the FAFSA does not commit you to anything.

  1. Complete FAFSA and list our school code.
  2. Submit required verification documentation.
  3. Review and accept the financial aid package.
  4. Funds are applied according to Brookline College’s disbursement schedule.
