Patient Care Technician Curriculum (27.5 Credits)

By enrolling in our Patient Care Technician program, you will learn how to perform several medical procedures to support nurses and physicians within a healthcare environment. You will receive training in how to draw blood, remove sutures and staples, administer ECGs, and perform other vital emergency procedures.

Throughout the program, you will receive hands-on instruction from experienced professionals, and you will also have the opportunity to practice your skills in one of our modern labs. Patient Care Technician students receive comprehensive training in clinical procedures, as well as a strong foundation in various healthcare subjects, such as anatomy, physiology, phlebotomy, and electrocardiography.

Graduates of our program are well prepared to begin their career as qualified Nursing Assistants and Patient Care Technicians.
